So, from the web-poll, looks like there's a lot of interest in Malcolm pictures. So, I'll post a small handful of my favorites from the last (nearly) two years, the "back-log" so-to-speak, then I'll jump in with the new ones. Here are my favorites from Malcolm's first few days of life.
Malcolm was born in early November 2006 to a remarkable and amazing young woman -- his birthmother, whom he calls "B-Ma" (pronounced "Bee-Ma"), which is short for Birth Mother. (More about his birth-family in posts-to-come.) She chose Matthew and me to be his parents, and we met him in the hospital when he was only a day old. Together, the three of us picked out his name.
The next day, we brought Malcolm home from the hospital. He weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces, and measured 19 inches long.
Through the amazing and overwhelming journey of adoption, we became a family of three!
