A Really Really Really Long Night, Part II

So he refused to nap yesterday, no surprise there.  Bedtime came early, at 6:30 pm.  He fussed and whimpered and cried his way to sleep by 7:00 pm.

And that was the last noise we heard from him until 8:00 am this morning!  One dose of antibiotics (half of which he tossed during a tantrum at bedtime) plus max-dosed pain meds, and he had enough relief to sleep through for 13 blissful, uninterrupted, restful, heavenly hours of sleep.
